Lord Ganesha, known as Vighnaharta (the remover of obstacles), is one of the most widely worshipped deities in Hinduism. As the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, Ganesha holds a unique position in the Hindu pantheon — he is always invoked first before any new endeavor, ritual, or journey. No Hindu ceremony begins without first offering prayers to Ganesha, making his mantras among the most universally chanted sacred sounds in Indian spiritual tradition.
